I read all these posts with much interest and believe Canadians and Austrailians have more in common than they believe . I recently watched a news story on the close friendship that our new P.M and your P.M. have developed . It was said that the first call after winning the election Harper received was from Howard- My first thought on hearing this was that this was not good .
The main problem in combatting increased gun control has always been getting people to work together even when its to their mutual advantage. Most voters I believe think only of how any new leglislation will affect them personally and do not think beyond this.
I know " I"m preaching to the choir on this" but more positive PR and disscusion between all of us can only be a benifit when dealing with this problem.
