Helped with a cut out this afternoon, with a local bee keeper (Sticky Stump Apiary on Facebook). These girls will be coming home with me in a day or so. LOTs of bees and we couldn't find the queen. Packed out and drove home with about 30kg of honey and comb and found the queen in the honeycomb. A little worse for wear but I raced her back to the hive for the ladies to clean her up.
