Had a great trip to Cairns. Did a fishing charter and caught a couple of nice reef fish. Was booked into another charter at 1770 (the town) but it blew up so I went beach and rock fishing instead. Surprisingly I caught a Bonefish from the rocks on a bit of beach worm Big Grin. Who needs to go to the Bahamas Wink

This is a couple of places we visited

Did the Sky rail trip to Kuranda which was cool BUT I would go back down via the cable cars as well and not the train.

Also saw a young couple having a quickie down near a waterfall in the Atherton Tablelands. We were up on the viewing platform and didn't we score quite the view rotflmo. He looked up and I gave him a cheery wave and he got a little embarrassed. Oh to be young again dancing

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

That would be a great break away Bakes and Kuranda looks to be a nice place to visit, sounds to be a bit of a cooler spot too, temperature wise that is.

Are Bonefish edible or does their name give a hint that they are not? Sparkling looking fish.

Ha, sounds like your friend down below
was boney too.

When I was a teen in the river bottom brush
of Dad's rented pasture I was shooting squirrels
with a .22. Just fired and a woman screamed
her and her then honey ran out of the brush
naked. Don't know which of us was the most
scared. They were trespassing besides.
Neither were the least embarrassed even though
they both were. Lucky I was shooting up into a
tree.

Amazing what we find "out there" sometimes.
