Derf - we really are at the mercy of the IMF , everyone thinks it only applies to third world nations but the reality is everyone is held tightly in the World Bank clutches and all politicians tow the line or the repercussions get nasty . It makes no difference what party is in power , the only power they have is what they are allowed to do so who you vote for is pretty irrelevant.
