Its sure is a shame that New Zealands native bird species are all drab and boring in relation to the Australian birds. And you guys tend to have more of them - or maybe they are just more noticeable.

Oh yeah - I didnt think of that!! We get them here too but the wing colour a bit different I thought?? I dunno??

You can pick them in the bush easily by their size eh?

I put them there last Xmas for the young uns that marvel at such things changing colour,the birds have chewed and moved them but they they still work and as I have =found out they attract the insects away from the house at night.
