Got the .222 Anschutz back from a bedding job and we fixed up the sight issue. When I had it rebarreled I wanted the same profile as the original. The old barrel had a bulge on it where the rear sight sat. The gunsmith forgot about this and made a smooth barrel BUT did put the front sight back on So I had him remove the front sight and sleeve the step. The different metals meant a different color in the bluing but I actually like it. Lovely little gun with a nicely shaped stock. I would like to get a new stock patterned the same as I like the palm swell. The rifle above is a project. I'm going to clean up the stock, trim it back and find a cheek piece for it. Then float and bed, paint, whack a scope on it and away I go. ------------------------------ A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!" | ||
