Ok, wife and I have booked a Viking cruise which puts us in Darwin for one overnight stay. Scheduled to arrive in Darwin on Dec 15, 2022, 1 pm ish and leave the next day (Dec. 16, 2022) again 1 pm ish. Is there any realistic chance of doing any type of hunting in that short period? Also will NOT have rifle or ammo on the trip.

Never hurts to ask a question like this.
Thanks all

I would stage some kind of break down
for at least a couple weeks.
You will never get back there.
This will be your only chance to abandon ship
and get lost in the outback.

Not really mate. Thats the wet season and things like pigs are spread out with the wet weather (Its also bloody hot and humid and hard to get around)

You may find a guide that can do a Magpie goose hunt but permits and shotguns will have to be worked out in advance etc.

Perhaps a charter boat for a fish?

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

I have a close friend who is an outfitter in Darwin. I’ll ask him what he thinks. His area is hours away but one never knows .

My friend says he has a place about an hour from Darwin. Lots of buff and pigs.

Unfortunately, he is leaving for America on the 10th.

If you like, I can send you his contact info. Perhaps one of his guides can take you. Let me know.

Larry, thanks for checking for me with your friend. Once I ran this idea past the wife, I got a HUGE thumbs down on this idea.

I listen to my wife. After my fourth trip to Africa, she told me that I was done going to Africa. So, ironic to this thread, I booked a buffalo hunt in Australia. Big Grin
