the terrain looks very similar to our northern cape, sections of the karoo and the kalahari.
We used to shoot feral donkeys back when I was a teenager, and still shoot jackals when the opportunity arises.

Great story, I really enjoyed reading it. A cull hunt, down under is on my list!!!
I read a few of the other stories and I need an Australian to south Texas dictionary!

Great story, and thanks. Question: do they give the Dr a permit or some other authority for the cull activity? I got the impression from your story that this was a preserve, some reason the average person couldn't remove the feral animals? Or did I misread?
