Heap's of job's for nurses and engineer's here, but if you want to make good money and are prepared to work for it you'd be better off going on the tools. Either building houses or pipe welding or some kind of trade, sparky, plumber anything along those lines. Theres a big shortage in all the trades ATM. Happy hunting

Nortman, you might consider Alaska. You should have plenty of hunting and fishing available there. The climate should be similar to Norway and firearms laws are about as unrestricted as you can get. I've told my wife we should move to Alaska but she says it's too cold; I doubt that would bother a Norwegian though. When I was in Bergan a few years ago, the temperature was in the low to mid 70s and the Norwegians were talking about how warm it was. As for jobs, there is of course commercial fishing in Alaska. I presume the oil fields would offer some engineering jobs. I don't think you could go wrong with nursing anywhere in the U.S.A. as there is a shortage. In my area in central Ohio, if your willing to work a bit of overtime in an emergency room, you can bring in 80 to 90 K. You could do a bit better as a nurse anesthesist or nurse practioner.
