Thanks for the note regarding the stag still in velvet, very interesting. And I agree there seem to be more animals, particularly does about this year in my spot.

Les, You go have yourself a good hunt, we may very well hunt pretty close together, you tell me your spot and I'll tell you mine... Mind you the stag I'm chasing is in the 28" region, so I'll take your 30 incher and shout you a beer or three in compensation. I'm heading out early next week, hoping for some cooler weather as the snakes are definately out.
