A hopefully simple question. Is there any interesting hunting to be had in Aus or NZ in February?

Thanks,
Dean

Hi Maki
Yeah there plenty of good hunting in late Feb. Stags are just out of the velvet and starting to colour up there antlers with plenty of rubbing. Tahr are at lower(generally) altitudes and whilst there capes are no good there should be plenty of bulls about. Same applies for Chamois in respect to coats/capes. All species can be hunted.
Just bare in mind that its high summer for us so take alot of care with any meat or trophies as the heat will be an issue.
great trout fishing.
