A superb condition animal showing a good horn spread and with a bit more length that will grow in a few more years will be a great trophy, if he survives that long.

I really do love chamois, shut up Matt, as they are quite a unique and elegant animal. Quite difficult to shoot when running as they are extremely agile and seem to bob around all over the place compared with tahr which seem to move in straighter lines.
When in tahr country, while the bulls are impressive, the animals colouring, small goat horn structure and slower demeanour when feeding or moving around makes them more akin to feral goats.
The chamois on the other hand, a species of antelope, are much more interesting with a more flighty action and constantly searching around and watching with that inquisitive look about them.
Tahr hunting is great chamois just that much more special.

Eagle, I agree. Tahr you hunt for the impressiveness. Chamois you hunt to get the most from a hunt. They are often overlooked i think. Hunting them with the bow is about the best hunt you can do I think.
