What magnificent creatures!

A couple of months ago we saw a wedge-tailed eagle drop something as we inadvertently disturbed him or her. It was a red-tailed Black cockatoo with the head freshly eaten away.

Well, one of your ganstas has a red face; and being a gangsta, I thought he may have escaped the cage in light of the new inquiry into that female defence lawyer who became a police informant.

Is my face red?

I see that in your career as a news editor that you set up a few cryptic crosswords also.

Well, I was the puzzles-page editor but didn't have to make up the puzzles. I can only ever remember seeing one easy cryptic clue: nomadic dog (five letters).

That one stretched the envelope well off topic
Paul...........had me going for a while.
Nobody outside VIC & few inside have any idea of the link to the 3838RC.

What is the issue there anyway, are the guilty not guilty because there was a tip-off . did they do it or not ...given reasonable doubt criteria.
Or
is the lawyer simply guilty of acting contrary to her brief & her client's interest.... but acting very much in the public's interest.

The Law might be looking very much like an ass in the public's eye if the jail door is opened for some very serious VIC crims to walk when the dust settles.

Very Cool pics by the way Gryph.

Who knows? Not sure if one can be in contempt of a royal commission by anticipating its outcome but I can imagine where it might go.
