...managed to talk the wife into coming out with me as well. I don't think its her game however. She got a bit freaked out when the shotty went off and was worried about the kids when the firing on the swamp started (motherly instinct kicked in). As to the geese...not a one. Did manage to bag 3 ducks but clap

I'm getting hooked on this caper dancing

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Have to be soon Dan season finishes 31 Dec. Going to take the boys out next week. I've applied to keep some geese so I can mount them and I'm waiting for the permit. If I don't get any this year I'll have to wait till next season.

How's the rain at Jabiru? Pouring here as I type. Putting the boat in tomorrow hope I don't get pissed on Big Grin

Didn't realise it finished so soon! Gun is coming from Townsville so it wont be here. Been as dry as a nuns nasty here for a week or so, rivers at .4 on Cahills crossing so I might slip back up into the Coburg for a hunt and fish while I have a few days off Big Grin
Sandy and I are up in Darwin tomorrow arvo (overnight) to collect the quad and a last minute shop.

For gods sake... take a crabpot with you and get me a muddy or 2! I can pay wave

Bakes and others,

Can you hunt goose and other waterfowl on public land. Is a licence necessary for an out-of-stater. Do you have to do a wild fowl identification test. Approximately when are the seasons.

(Sorry, my question mark key isn't working.

Thanks,

mike

Mike.
Season is from 30 August to 30 December. You need a permit which you get from the parks dept. $20 odd. No ID test and they give you maps to the public hunting areas. (stay away from the water and DON'T wade in after downed geese, snapping hand bags are everywhere Eeker) Steel shot only on public swamps. Lead shot on private lands. You are allowed to shoot: Magpie Geese, Black Duck, Wandering Whistle Duck, Plumed Whistle Duck, Grey Teal, Pink eared Duck, Hardhead Duck and Wood Duck. Here's a number for you. 08 89994795
