Is trapping legal in the Australian Capitol Territory? I'll be there in November, job finally went through and I am very excited. | ||

No mate, the ACT is one big wildlife sanctuary. Over the boarder in NSW you can trap rabbits IF you use the humane traps (no old fashion steel jawed traps)You can also put Ferrets down holes and use a shotgun for whatever comes out (good fun, just don't shoot the ferret ) Foxes are available all year round if you get access to private property and if your real lucky there are Fallow deer in the Lake George/ Buggendore area. ------------------------------ A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. Snaring not allowed in NSW - I dont think it is allowed in a few state. I believe that comes back to protection of native wildlife but it seems to apply to all animals... check state laws though as they do differ. I have had a client use snares in the NT - and while it was not illegal - it doesnt say it is legal method either!!
