Who are the good accuracy 'smiths in Australia now? I'd like to get a 308 target rifle made up on a Sako action that I have. Any recommendations on who might do a good job of it?

Where abouts do you live. I can suggest some good ones in Queensland. If you dont mind waiting and spending the bucks ,then John Giles of PSECO does a lot of guns for the top BR and long range shooters.

Likewise,
Peter van Meurs of Pro-Cal Trading in Victoria, has built a number of "Fly" and BR Rifles and competes himself in these events.

cr500 - I'm from Sydney way, but I don't mind dealing with someone not local. Hell, I'm in Switzerland now so anyone I deal with is not going to be real local!



Con - I've had some work down by Peter in the past, and enjoyed working with him. I may well use Pro-Cal again for this project, but I was still looking for other recommendations before deciding.

I reckon Bob @ Kudud Serices is the man....he has built another bloke a .308 target rifle and has brilliant results and on an M98 !!
