Ok gents. I'm tinkering with a M98 stock and have the intention of bedding it. What's the best way to clean out all the old oil that's soaked into the wood?

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

One of the reasons that the syn stocks are so versatile is that they are basically impervious to anything that injures wood stocks. Most of mine are syn but I recently gave the nod to a Hatcher walnut because sourcing a 602 brno in syn was impossible, well for me it was.

No kangaroos here but we have 80 million pigs. All in prisons.
Cleaning stocks; use TSP; Trisodium Phosphate. And very hot water; soak for 20 minutes; it will pull out all oil and grease and raise dents too.

Apparently brew shops sell this stuff for cleaning brewing gear , and Selleys Sugar Soap is a pretty close relative of TSP.

All of which I wasnt aware of , so I will try this on my next .22 stock that needs a refurbish.
