Hey guys I am pleased to say that I have a once in a life time opportunity. Myself and my girlfriend are going to work in a hunting camp in Arnham Land. We will be up there from some time in June to sometime in October. Then from there we are going to travel down the guts of Oz and see some sights (Uluru, and such). And hopefully pick up work where there are some deer kicking around (possibly SA, Vic, Tas, NSW, ACT) So I will keep a log of my travels and when possible post it up here.

Also if anyone knows of a farm that may have deer on or near, needing a couple of workers? We would greatly appreciate it.

Cheers CM

Ya not that easy. Never really thought about that though. I'll have to look into it. Also applying for residency in Oz so not sure if I'm able to leave with out voiding my application.

actually you normally have to apply prior to entering, have you done all your paperwork?

what visa are you going on as that also makes a differance.

Yes all paper work is under control. The outfitter has it covered. He has been outfitting up there for 8 years now. I have a working holiday visa, and am currently working in Albany WA. So as far as I know should all be good. Cheers for the heads up though. All information is good info.

Cheers CM

Ha, Ha, Ha and that is the truth! Of course sometimes a bit of effort is required, BEFORE you get to the carrying part!

Never mind the carry. Just caping the bugger by yourself is a bastard!

Sounds like a great adventure! I would rather carry a buff cape than sit at a shitty desk any day!
