Go to this site and fill out the on-line submission in support of free-standing pistolgrips on rifle stocks before the piece of legislation currently befor Parliament is voted on . Wont cost you anything but a few minutes but may save your currently "A" cat semi-auto suddenly becoming an "E" cat firearm and you automatically breaking the law by possessing it ...

I dont need to today , but I might next week or next year or whenever TP.

Its a major change in the classification of certain firearms and it will affect some people so acting now may save some disappointment later.

I dont own such a firearm , havent for a long time - but that isnt a reason to be apathetic. I'm usually just plain pathetic but I'm trying to break the cycle ;-)

Done.
I don't own one but there is a principle involved and I disagree with the police losing that court case over pistol grip definitions and then they somehow are allowed to change the law so that now they are right. They should be upholding the law not trying to manipulate it.

Tp yes the day after (or sometime shortly after)the legislation becomes law the police can change the classification of several legal firearms and make them illegal for some of there owners to own them.........no consultation required.........Kiwi
