I know this is a hunting/shooting forum but didn't know where else to ask (a link would help me out there)

Next week end we head for Tassy for about 13 days.

I have been looking into some trout fishing possibilities.

First off a fishing licence is $60 and If I am going to pay that I'd like to fish a whole lot.

I do not have a fly rod down here so I have looked at the cheapest package deal ~$99.

Then there would be at least a doz. flies.

Or should I just stay with bait and lures on my spinning outfit?

Do I need a licence for salt water fishing there?
Any good fishing tips or hints for Tassy?

Don't think you need a licence for the salt water mate. Here's a link for you to try.

A spin rod will be handy as there are some big bream that hang around the rivers. They will take lures/bait (small minnow type lures). Thats about all I know of Tassie.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"
