I know the 50BMG is tough to get out now, but what about 50cal+ normal african style bigbores and barrels(.577, 600, 700etc)? I seem to remember an instance last year of a .620 barrel(as in 600nitro/OK bigbore- nothing anti-tank) being blocked from leaving the US to go to a Aussie buyer. Karl.

Took my 600 OK to Zim last year with no issues... Know of one other hunter who did the same with no problem... I think the whole issue was a misunderstanding with the airlines & TSA as to the interpretations of their regs... Could still have an issue if depending on what airline worker you have to talk to... ______________________ Sometimes there is no spring... Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm...

I meant export as in sent to a buyer in a foreign country, being Australia in this case.
