David Chapman won gold in the 25m Rapidfire pistol overnight! His daughter is competing in the women's Rapidfire. Adam Vella won gold in the trap shooting.

They were at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, against Britain and any former colonies that fancy joining in. I don't think countries even have to pay allegiance to the Crown any more, so the USA would probably qualify (and lift the importance more than a bit) Smiler

A friend of ours went to watch and also attended the additional Highland Games, apparently at a place called Balloch. My advice on that was:
never mind the Ballochs, watch yr sporran!

You're right, they don't have to be former colonies, since Mozambique is now a member, too.
