One of two goats I dropped with my new Remington 700 SPS camo.

A sambar hind from early Jan. 350RM

You guys up north have it good with game numbers so a bit of rain cant be that bad Wink
How bout sending a bit down here!
I am sure some of us southerners could find a bit of game down here for you if you were to escape the rain. Then we could come up and escape our winter rain Cool

I also live in the top end (the Qld version). We just jump in a boat and head up river if we want a shot. Here is a nice fat piggy I shot this morning with the .470.

no i havent carried my rifle for the past 4 months, stags are/were cast or in velvet during that time and too many blowies for good meat retrieval from far off gullies....plenty of veni in the fridge anyway...,dont want to stir `em up,many reasons why she`s still walking.

Though when Mr Seven comes out of the safe this calf is one that would be taken first above the others for meat, delicious pink meat, falls off the fork, yummo!
