A youtube Video of an impressive mob of bulls and their reaction to a shot.

Bull Tahr in the Tussock

Here is their story I know it is another forum but I don't think anyone would mind seeing these guys on a great adventure.

That 1st vid was great! That hillside came alive with tahr at the shot.

Can't wait to get back and chase tahr again.. SOme of my favorite hunting memories were made in those mountains.

Jeez I'd love to come and help out, but it will be a year or two before the farm is running well enough for me to get away at short notice.
Will be down in Feb for a bit of an explore, and some culling. Have got my rifle now capable of 600 meter shots with the help of Gimps scope, so am keen to get into a few on some of those faces.
Let us know how you get on.

Gidday Weathered,

Those are some hot blondes.

Were they up the Karangarua. Great spot up there.

I here the pools aren't as warm up at the welcome flats anymore. Theyt were always good for a soak after a good week on the hill.

Happy Hunting

Hamish

They were just right when I was up there last, just ask my mate who was soaking his life away when I opened up on some Tahr above the hut.
