Well she is a Canadian and we were hunting in Alberta but as you see she was wearing an Aussie hat at the time so......

Here is my daughter with her first pronghorn buck.

She has been tagging along with me on pronghorn hunts since she was about 5. This trip she had the trophy antelope permit and I didn't fire a shot. But it was among my favorite hunts.

Cute girl, nice buck, and that looks like a remington 788. You must be an awfully proud daddy. Congratulations!

Gidday Duffy,

Way to go mate. While it is great that we get our sons hunting the future of the sport will be determined by how many daughters we get into it.

The boys will do what the girls want them to do. Its a biological imperative so if a girl hunts (especially if she is as pretty as your daughter) the guys will hunt to impress her thus preserving our culture.

Well done to both of you

Happy Hunting

Hamish
