On our works network we have a shooting/gun forum in the recreation folder. The guys there started taking a tally of feral animals shot by us (Defence members and civi's that work in Defence). Now we've all heard the anti's say that rec hunting is not a legitimate form of animal control. See how these numbers grab you. In the years 2010 to 2016 Birds- 551 Rabbits-15,476 Hares-834 Cats-413 Dogs-87 Foxes-1976 Goat-3,800 Pig-4,849 Deer-667 Donkey-155 Scrub Cattle-30 Buff-112 Camel-31 Not a bad effort hey. ------------------------------ A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. Well they don't think recreational hunters should be doing it. They think only professional shooters should be used, combined with poisons, etc. There was even a plan to de sex male feral cats so they wouldn't breed  until it was pointed out that the cats were eating our native animals not fucking them.....boom tish......Thankyou, I'm here all week, try the veal  ------------------------------ A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. Made my day! Main thing with antis is that they don't really care about the animals, they care that no hunter gets to hunt and/or no one has fun shooting anything. They'll never stop. | |||
