Buy from one of the suppliers in the USA.You will save quite a lot.
Example from last month. I wanted to purchase 2 x RCBS X-dies plus a RCBS 10-10 powder scale. Total cost including airfreight $285 Aust dollars. The goods arrived just over a week after they left the US and were delivered to my door.
The best price quoted in Australia was $295 through a friend in the industry. By the way $295 was for the 10-10 scales only!! The dies were somewhere around the $90 mark each.
I tend only to purchase goods that require import permits in Aust., the other stuff comes from Lock Stock & Barrel in the USA.

Don't know how these prices compare with others PC, but Malcolm Bone at Taipan Bullets is a great bloke to deal with.

email them at www.lockstock.com. You will find this company a pleasure to deal with. They can also ship via surface which takes 8 weeks or so. I saved over $200 on the last order. Makes you wonder how come everything in this country is so damn expensive when you consider that the importers are paying wholesale prices ,yet it is cheaper to pay retail in the USA plus freight and still save significantly.

You are dead right there. I recently tried to find a set of 7x65 rimmed dies here in oz. The nearest I came was Jansa Arms who didn't have any in stock but could get me a set of simplex - made here - a real bargain at $140 + postage!!
I just laughed at him. I also wanted a Forster case trimmer etc and ended up ordering the lot from Grafs for about oz $250 which included air mail. The same stuff bought here would go about $450.
While our dollar is so good buy up. This year I've bought a diff lock for my cruiser and a winch for my quad and paid about half the going rate for the same thing here!

Cheers
