| Hi Shanks The left set is mine. The other belongs to an Aussie hunter. Would hunt another in a heartbeat but very tough on the wallet. Oh, if only we had LDE roaming the South Island as Gryph speculates. That would be hunting heaven.

| Hendrik Do the LDE hunt if you can. Was my ultimate dream hunt too and for me, in every way, my hunt lived up to expectations. Africa thoroughly worked her charms on me during my time in Cameroon. I would go again, anytime, if finances ever allow. Wouldn't mind seeing a pic of your Buff too if you feel inclined to grant Gryph's wish.

| Gryph Confession time; I did not post a Hunt Report, sorry to say. I made daily notes during the hunt so have material for a report and it would be good to expand those into the hunt story. Will try to do that in the next couple of weeks but I'm off Tahr hunting end of this month so it might not get finished until June.

That hunt was quite a while ago - so time for something new! I did manage to knock over one of Shank's Fallows recently, will put up some pics once I figure out the photo hosting. |

| 376, Yes. South Island climate likely to be too cold for LDE. My comment was merely wishful thinking. I think as a rule antelope species occur in relatively warmer climates compared to deer species which occur mainly in cooler areas. Hi Shanks, Yes, that is Mark. My set is back home but he may still have the other set there. Call Mark first. Cheers
