Brilliant! We're planning the next AHN (Australian Hunting Net) Bigbore shoot for April/May 2010.

Ditto on sourcing the buffalo target. We should have a 'running target' hopefully operational ... but need an appropriate target.
Cheers...

We ordered some targets from Safaripress.com and had them "blown up" by the local copy shop to full size.

For the next event we will be doing some reactive targets as well...

These are about 36"x23".

They don't have the scoring rings, but they have the vitals on the back. So really good for practice as well as fun shoots

Those Buff targets look very much like the ones SA Hunters use for their Big Bore exercise. Made by Garipani. Sourced in South Africa.

This is great stuff guys. I didn't know there was such a shoot in Godzone! Please tell where these shoots are held. What is the minimum caliber? I hope a 9.3X62 is allowed.

When is your next shoot?

Hey guys - top stuff. If you get enough guys for a shoot Id be keen to come over next year and say G'day and burn some powder.. Got some air miles to burn!!

TP - you should think about coming over to the the AHN shoot next year. I wont be around for that (be busy killing buffalo) but Con and Co. would love to see you (and other Kiwis) there and the locals will sure look after you.

Cheers all
Matt
