I concur Gryphon...

Wes - check out the Walkabout Lodge www.walkaboutlodge.com.au they will have all of the contact details for fishing and sightseeing companies. I guess that is where you would be staying anyhow??

Are you hunting with Simon??

Cheers
Matt

The hunt came down to Matt or Paul,,, we kind of flipped a coin and went with Southern Safaris,, Paul Trocolo sp? Someones post on here about their Cull hunt swayed the coin toss. I met Matt at DSC in January and if I had met him before I would of maybe gone that direction. L. David Keith, Grey Ghost Safaris was the outfitter we went with since we have used him before and he represents Paul. The Walkabout lodge is where we will stay in Gove. Thanks for the help..

Ya win some, ya loose some...

Wish you'd have bought my DSC donation though. That hunt was the only Aussie buff given to DSC and went for 1/2 price and the one I gave to SCI (among many others) went for nearly 100% of full price... oh well???

The fishing out of Gove is pretty good and it is worth seeing the art gallery at Yirrkala. The Wlakabout Hotel public bar is ...erm... interesting.... They fly in female bar staff to 'entertain' the miners!!

Cheers for now
Matt

Do to family commitments I didn't get to the DSC till Sunday,,so I missed the auction,, in fact I didn't think I would make it at all and visited with you briefly there sunday and that is what is good about those events. I have less concerns when booking a hunt with someone I have met. I talked to one of my good friends about you and he went by your booth in Reno and is probably going to book a trophy buff hunt with you if some timing issues work out. Working with an outfitter we went with his recommendation,,,, the person he books for of course, sine we didn't really know anyone and we had heard great things about both of you here on AR. We will hunt in the future, wes
