So I was on facebook and the above page came up with a post to "share your photo's and win" that sort of stuff. I could not believe some of the comments...by other hunters having a shot at those who's deer are in a paddock. One guy said " That's not real hunting, hunting in the bush is real hunting"

Now I don't care how you hunt, my personnel opinion is anything behind high wire is not hunting, but free range deer killed in an open paddock is still hunted.

There are just as many experts on facebook hunting sites as there are on forum sites , Bakes. Unfortunately the standard of english language used on Facebook sites leaves a hell of a lot to be desired . I doubt whether some of the poster ever made it past primary school if their spelling and swearing is anything to go by.

But ,ultimately, decent folk dont post their pics because the vocal , foul mouthed , bigoted few spoil it for everyone . Here and there ....

A lot depends on how much land there is inside the fence. IF a hundred acres and game can't get out at all, I agree that's not hunting. IF it's several thousand acres and enough bush n timber they can get away in. That's a different deal. Then if there's fence down or openings they can travel both ways that's decent too.

Like a good many things in life, it all depends.

I understand what your saying George but it just doesn't sit right for me. No matter what size your in, even a couple of 100,000 acres, I wouldn't really want to hunt in there. No hassle for other folk to do so if they wish.
