The new season is off with a hiss and roar. Everything seems early by 2-3 weeks. The Elk are bugling their heads off, fighting etc. (Picked up a dead one yesterday.) The Red stags are also starting. Most of the velvet has stripped. (Reds, Fallow and Elk.) I've noticed the Whitetail are still in velvet.
Will be interesting to see if the roar/bugle finishs early e.g. end of March.
