Its always fun to explain to veges that everything from medication, cosmetics, household chemicals to even dyes used in clothes is or was tested on warm furry animals, or made off technology that once was.
And how an animal having say its mucous membranes tortured to make sure the subtsance is safe suffers for many hours and days longer than one we shoot and eat

BTW, I've never seen a vegetarian dog or cat, they will eat veges, but not purely vegetarian.
