Been on the web, DHL, UPS, FedEX, Qantas, Packsend, TNT etc., etc., "We ship anything anywhere, worldwide, international, help with import permits, no parcel too big or too small

Fugging bull shite! Soon as you mention that it's a bit of metal screwed into a piece of bloody wood they drop you like a hot potato!

You might be better off flying over to NZ and picking it up yourself. Talk to customs and your local firearms registry and they will tell you what you need to do to get it back.

Airfares to NZ, and back, can be quite reasonable and you might be able to do some hunt'n'n'fish'n' while you are there!

(Just keep away from their sheep farms as those Kiwis are a jealous bunch!)

If you Austruckinfalian Bashstuds weren't such a rude bunch of Arm-holes you might get a decent Kiwi Bloke to help send a rifle from here.

If you asked one of us decent blokes over here we could likely help you out , as Oldun said in his most eloquent manner.

There always kiwis crossing the Tasman , just a matter of lining it all up , doing the paperwork and the jobs right . Jeez - I was in Qld a couple of weeks ago and had all the paperwork for import/export , and we drove through your hometown too...

Ask politely here and you might be surprised what eventuates

Thank you gents,
Yes if someone can bring in excess baggage, my appreciation would certainly be $$$ toward your air fares, permits etc.
Darn thing is already in a case. My permit expires 5/8/06

P.S. Up the Warriors; all stories about sheep are untrue, how is the crucket team going beer

Tis in a case - but it aint an "airline approved" case . Has to be lockable......

Suggets you allow your permit to lapse , or cancel it . Then get someone organised to carry it ( in an approved case...) , confirm the dates , reapply for the B709A and any other permits - like the Visitor Firearms Licence - and then it should all fall into place .

Its a pain but its easier getting into Qld than it is in some other States.....

I am surprised that Air New Zealand Cargo wouldnt handle it - did you try them ?
