Our Board has slowed right down so another one in here just to speed things up. I have ordered all of the books in Capsticks Library. Some are great reading---- eg., William Buckley--- and others are a waste of time---eg., pig sticking. Taylor is my favourite writer at present with Bell close behind. r

Which is the best source of hunting books in Oz ? Read a couple of Reader's Digest condensed books by Hunter and I think Corbett when I was a kid . Can't imagine they'd publish them now ! The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood. Wilbur Smith
