They are still out there; the old family heirlooms.
I went into a gunshop Saturday and was shown some toys from a deceased estate. The executor had bought them in with instructions to "get what you can".
Well I got a 1885 Winchester low wall in 32WCF and a 1885 MH 577/450 artillery carbine, both in excellent shootable condition for $800.
Hell, I'm supposed to be reducing the numbers but I've bought more antiques in the last 12 months than i've sold.
He still had a 577 Snider if anyone is interested!


Hold still varmint; while I plugs yer!
If'n I miss, our band of 45/70 brothers, will fill yer full of lead!

I found an 1859 Tower in the father-in-laws cupboard a few years ago. Its now sitting in my safe. clap .....must get around to shooting it soon.
