OK after all the negative replies to my Shooters post, who do you think is the best shop to deal with IN AUSTRALIA service wise, also who gets your vote price wise?

OK I'll start it off.
QLD gun exchange, Horsely Park - pays to compare prices from both as one will be cheaper than the other on certain items. found both OK on service.

Will always try to use a supplier that has a web site with prices on it. hmmm another thread.

As a long time customer of Rebel I get great service and usually a small discount off shelf prices. The guys that run the place have become friends and they are the first place I go.

I have also had great service from QGE in the recent past, and Stevens & Sons are reliable and just down the road.

No complaints about any of them.

McDonalds Guns owned by Tim Schaeffer. Tim is very competitive price wise and is very knowledgable on shooting matters. He is in the business because it is his sport and hobby.

'nother vote for Rebel Gunworks at the Gabba. Service is always 1st class and advice is freely given. I drive past 3 other shops to get to Rebels. They also work with me a bit on prices .

The way most gun shops treat customers one could be forgiven for believing that they were all multimilionaires.
I used to believe that I was wearing a cloak of invisibility when I walked into most shops. I must have mislaid that cloak 'cause now that they can see me they treat me like i was interrupting something more important, like the cricket.
Enter Safari Arms in Burwood. This is a small family run business that is BIG on service and good on price. If they screw up they make good. What more can we ask. It takes a whilke to get over being treated like you are impotant, but once the shock wears off you'll learn to like it.
