Word from up north (Brisbane Valley) has it that it will be a late roar this year on reds. What are peoples opinions? i have no idea how they come up with this, but the fellas are rarely wrong.

they have started in NZ and in NSW,started sporadically that is.

They are already going for it just north of my place but around where i am they havent made a squeek yet. The weekend weather was a shocker though. Nothing unusual compared to other years so far. The deer are as fat as and we've had good antler growing conditions so fingers crossed.

Mate of mine up there said he heard something but dismissed it as a cow...who knows now that im hearing you both.
