As a heads up, Bunduki Books and I are launching my new book (on what's wrong with modern riflescopes) at the Arms & Militaria Fair in Altona at 10 am on Saturday.

The book, in case you see it elsewhere, is called:
Light at the Start of the Tunnel by Samuel B. Mann (a pen name, for the same reason I don't put gun-brand decals on my car).

Cheers
'SBM'

Still working on the launch, Muzza, but will post the cover ASAP afterwards and try to set up some mail-order provisions this week.

We've agreed to sell it for $30, which may seem enough for 152 pages but it does have 28 full-colour picture pages as well as a bunch of line drawings.

Because I don't have credit card facilities, I've agreed to let the publishers handle foreign currency transactions. But anyone able to send Aussie dollars to my bank could expect a signed copy Smiler

Thanks ...

Sorry Gryphon, it only got mentioned in my saying I'd never owned a real Redfield, made at the Denver factory.

You might be pleased to know it's gone to a good home, though. I swapped it with my cousin for an old Tasco that definitely was dodgy. That scope got pulled to bits and I showed a picture of its erector tube in the book.
