Coming to OZ in April

Hey Guys, one of Ms AZ's friend's invited us to her farm in April. Her friend lives about an hour from Brisbane near Gimpy (I think that is the town). Anyway, she has some red deer on her property and said if I want to shoot, I am welcome to do so. She said the stags should be roaring in April.

I have been to OZ before, but borrowed a gun. I know it is not as easy to get a gun inside Australia as NZ. Any advice?

Also, I should probably hunt water buff while I am there - any advice/suggestions? I assume most fly to Darwin...

I have sent to you a PM.

Buffalo hunting may be possible but it may be too early with the wet season only finishing in March, early April. Many camps do not open till later in the season. April sounds like a grand time for a red stag and you will probably experience the "roar".

You can bring your own firearms, it may just take some paperwork.

Good luck and good hunting.

Howdy Ari-zona,

You will not be the first American to visit Gympie A lot of your forefathers went through there in the 1800's with gold fever.

Our home shooting range is just to the north of town.Gympie is two hour drive north from Brisbane(International Airport)

I live in Brisbane,Bad Ass just moved from here to Kingaroy, one hour west of Gympie.

We met Bakes there for a plink and a feed.I just hope you don't go on and on about yourself all day like him.

Yes,we noticed the hat.

Bad Ass'Sharps 50/70.

Is that a real headstone behind Bakes!?! Strange place for a shooting range if it is, would make paying your respects a lot more challenging!

hey Ozzies:

anyone interested in this deal?

1. You supply me with a gun and ammo to hunt red stag
2. You come with me to this farm and hunt too
3. I introduce you to Glenda, a very attractive, slim blonde haired blue eyed woman in her mid 40s. No kids (that I am aware of), loves to farm, outdoors, has money, etc.

I know ya'll are thinkin' "fair dinkum?!" but hey, dreams do come true.

No problem! You will still have to get an international visitors permit to use or possess while here

okay, the ball and chain is on the phone now talking about her trip. She is going to WA as well as QL, but I don't have that much time to devote to idle banter and chatter.

I WANT TO KILL STUFF.

So Bad Ass, how are the stag in QL? Should I try and postpone our trip until the dry season so I can shoot a buffalo?

Gympie is North East of BA's place on the Highway.
