shanksponyPic from last night hunt
Had an evening on the ducks with my brother and a mate. No dead duck pic though we got 28 over 2.5 hours. we all shot well and not many got away, but the real trophy of the evening was the scenery.

Foxhunter223Looks fantastic. A bit jealous as I was supposed to get over to the South Island this year for a duck hunt. Maybe next year.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Old old stag. Only 2 teeth left in its mouth. Would have been a cracker a couple of years ago.

gryphon1Shanks one of the boys you met here was away last week with others and they shot 100 which they breasted and he is gonna convert the meat to smoked Cabana/Cabanossi. Dunno what you call it there. Bloke that came back and told you where the brown snake was.

shanksponyMike and I just made 30 Kg of duck breast and wild pork shoulder sausages. Main flavour ingredients were 3 litres of red wine and 100grms of fennel seed, Mustard Oregano and crushed garlic.
First time Ive made this recipe and to be honest Im going to whack another batch of ducks and make another lot they are so good.

the PomNever more than one pair of Paries on my place. I always leave them in the hope they might attract more but that hasn't worked yet. Haven't shot a duck since I sold the Southland farm.

shanksponyYeah I dont shoot the pairs, unless they come into the mob sites. The pairs are the breeding population.
Those look Yum Gryph
