Ahh...another 'self-guided' Chital hunt with Australia's shonkiest deer guide. You did well to get yourself a nice trophy under those conditions.

Well done.

Congratulations on both the hunt and the article. It was very enjoyable read. It reminded me of my time walking in the bush in that area at the height of summer - until you have experienced it, it’s hard to get it across what is like in the heat with the sun baking down on the back of your neck. Your account of the crawling caused me to smile remembering the last time I had to do that when I was hunting in Namibia. I spent hours doing the same thing with me staring at the arse of the PH in front thinking this is a strange way to spend an afternoon and realizing how physically demanding it was. But at the end of the day same as your hunt if we didn’t do it we would have gone home empty handed.

Go for your life mate. The more people that know the better.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Is there a particular place one may write about bad guides or should i write that in "hunt reports" section?

Better still, should i start a thread about bad PHs just like the one about good PHs

Best part of the report: everything....congrats!

Worst part: duck hunting is banned in Queensland. That sucks!

Dabloobana, you can post in hunt reports then post a link here so other people that don't always go into "hunt reports" can have a look as well. What ever you want to do mate.

I've made it a sticky mate so other people won't get caught out by this guy.

Nice stag. So sorry to hear about your terrible experience in Australia. A quick google of the outfitters name shows plenty of bad feedback online.
