Bringing guns into Australia question

I'm in the planning stages for a Buff trip to Australia in 2013. I had intended to use muzzleloaders but when I was looking over some of the paperwork last night a problem occurred to me.

All of my MLs are either very very old originals or guns I built and none will have serial numbers?

Is this an insurmountable problem? Naturally, I can engrave serial numbers on the guns I built and, technically speaking, I'm the manufacturer.

Advice?
Suggestions?
Experiences?

Your outfitter would need to clear it with the NT Police, such that a B709 import permit could be issued with conidence that it would be allowed over the border. I dont see a big problem with it...
