Seems like a lot of money for a product that isn't well known - at least I've never heard of them. How about the rest of you guys?

Are we talking about single shots, bolt actions, re-worked actions, new actions? Some more info would be nice.

Bob,
I sent you a Harre Actions pdf file on an email. They look very nice in the brochure. Other than what's in there I only know what Daniel has told me.

Brian Harre will be doing a run of about 10 recievers, more if people indicate they want one.
They will be dedicated 375H*H length with integral square bridges in Stainless or Prehardened steel. Price will be the same, us$3500.
they are M70 type with mauser C-ring,extended front ring, bolt release similar to Dakota,One piece bottom metal.

From what I have heard his actions were great.
A friend of mine also hunts with him often and would like him to make a take down 375H&H asap.

for those that have a remote intrest in quality fire arms have been quite aware of brians action/rifles, and as far as a lot of money for a product that is not well known goes , you get what you pay for, and if john bollinger is happy to use those actions on his $80,000 rifles
that in its self is enough
brian builds bolt action in standard configuration, and take down rifles...
send me your e mail and i will try to foward you some photos

I have more than a remote interest in quality firearms and still haven't heard of Brian Harre. This isn't to say that Brian Harre doesn't make quality products, just that his advertising/promotions are not reaching as far as you might think!

3000...barrel with full integral features
3000...premium stock blank
4000....stockwork
1500....custom mounts
2000....polish work

1500... extra features(leather pad,catridgetrap)
4000...premium quality T/down conversion.

So far 26,000(With HartmannWeiss reciever and everything mentioned above)and Im sure I over quoted on some things.

$80,000 for a John Bollinger bolt rifle? Roll Eyes, never.Probably the same dills that payed over $200k for the SCI leopard rifle.

If you want one of BrianHarres model49 Recievers, this is your chance, they are not available all that often.
