Hi Guys,

Paid a visit to Safari Firearms new shop at Bexley in Sydney's south and was very impressed.
Would have to say the floorspace/showroom is bigger than any other gunshop in Sydney with a superb range of guns, optics, ammo, clothing, knives, reloading gear & accessories.
Best of all the service is way better than any of their competion with a great team of staff ready and willing to assist without being at all pushy.
This is exactly what Sydney needs and will certainly give some of the other retailers in the industry a real shake.
10 out of 10 Safari.

Cheers,
Boof.

Boof,

I agree totally - dropped into the new premises the other day and was very impressed. How they coped in the old premises has me stuffed!!

As you say, the service in the new shop is fantastic - ready and willing without being pushy, and as a customer you don't have to wait until the next century before being approached. Not only that, but the people they have aren't 'internet experts' - they are people with very solid real world experience in their fields - be that clays, hunting, target rifle, reloading and so on. If the bloke you're talking to doesn't know, he won't b/s you, but put you on to the person who does know.

Breath of fresh air in the Sydney scene.

Is this the old Horsley mob?

Bakes,

nup - not Horsley Park, but Safari Firearms... they used to be in a tiny shop in Belmore that was way overcrowded with stock. Couldn't swing a cat in there, and if there were more than about three customers, you couldn't get in. Even when you did get in, couldn't see much.

They moved to Bexley early last month (I think) and now there's heaps of room and plenty of good staff.

Top Predator, yeah Andrew and his team at Magnum are great for service as well, but they're on the northside, Safari I reckon are ideally placed to service the southside.
