Got the magazine. Most appreciated. Thanks Les. As above, let me know which NZ mag you'd like in return. Some good yarns, and some good looking Sambar, one over 30 inch. I hope to get over shortly for a crack at one of those myself. I always find the Aussie choice of weaponry and hunting apparell interesting!!!! You may know what's the situation with Hog Deer. How easy is it to get access/permission permit etc. Would there be anyone willing to swap a Hog Deer Stag/Buck hunt for a Bull Tahr or Chamois Hunt in NZ?

Yeah Tim no worries, On the hog deer hunting I don't know too much about it as I've never had a go at them I'm just a Sambar stalker only, If Con is around he may know more about hunting them, There is a Hog deer ballot running for the 2005 season at Blond Bay some 2000ha's free range by the ADA, if you want a application PM me your email address and I will send it to you I think the cost is $10.00. I do know they are a challenge just like Sambar from what I've been told and there is a fair bit public land you can hunt them on, but then again I don't know how long the season runs for maybe a month or so. You could try the ADA site austdeer.com.au or ph. Brian Dungey on 03 98761636 or email melbsec@iprimus.com.au he's the sec. for the Melbourne branch of the ADA and will be able to help you. HHmmmmm aussie choice of firearms and apparell, better than wearing those tights you blokes use over there hahahaha. She's right with the mags Tim I gotta kiwi mate who brings me over a mag or two every second month or so (we work on the same aussie merchant ship) the mags on me, take it easy and I hope you get onto the Hogs.....Les
