A buddy of mine and I are heading out of Houston this evening on United flight 100 for Sydney, then on to Darwin to rest up for a day. Hunting with Graham Williams and our own Ozhunter for banteng and buffalo with a scrub bull or two thrown in for good measure. Taking my Wm. Evans 450-400 3.25. Should be fun... if you are on the same flight, let me know. We can catch up in the United Lounge. Good hunting!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Best of luck and hope you have a great hunt.
Banteng is on my wish list - one day !
Might be quite a bit of water around. Like here I think there has been much rain recently.
Cheers

Hunting.... it's not everything, it's the only thing.

Just ask 'em to speak Merkin Smiler if you have any trouble. It may not cover our bald, 18th-Century London accent very well but we've watched enough TV to get by and I've found it works over your side.

Translators are often needed for 'Merican visitors in Oz, .. unlike, say, in Canada where they actually speak a recognizable form of English. tu2
