If I read their regs right no piece of checked baggage can exceed 62" length plus width plus height of bag. The Tuff Pak is approx. 72". Has anyone had a problem with the Tuff Pak on international flights? ALLEN W. Allen In case you dont know - when you have your itinerary done, send an email to Qantas Dangerous Goods (dgenquiries@qantas.com.au) and give them your rifle and ammo details and they will email you back a simple permit by email - that helps smooth things over at the Qantas check-ins. Matt I just got my approval to carry firearms and ammunition letter back from Mr. Willoughby of Qantas today. This was after I sent the Northern Territory Police firearm license number to him. This hunting in another county (any of them not just Australia) is getting to where you almost need a secretary to keep track of the paperwork. I am hunting in the Arnhem Land somewhere about a 2 hr drive from Bulman with Graham Williams. Thanks everyone for the info. ALLEN W.
