I came across a local gun dealer with a Cooper TRP3, 22LR single shot. I had been thinking about getting a benchrest type 22 but had not seen this green stocked Cooper before. The dealer claimed that the rifle had only 28 rounds shot through it, was pricing it at $1200. It is also supposed to come with a vibration damper, but he didn't have it handy. If it's in good condition (looked like it), is this a fair price? sputster

You can spend a lot of money on a 22lr rifle, and, no matter how good it is, you are still limited by the ammunition. Do a Google search on BR 50. Peter. Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong;

Even with good ammo, it would not be a competitive rimfire target rifle. Butch
