I shoot a 1 in 10 twist Blaser 243 with a 24 inch barrel it shoots the 90 scenars ok but will not shoot the 105 because of slow twist rate, has anyone info on the Berger 95 vLd shooting them in a 1 in 10 twist barrel and ifso how do you rate them? Paul T Ireland.

The 95 grain bullets should fly. But you do have to "hotrod" them. They are on the edge of what my rifle will stabilize.

Paul, I have done extensive load developement with the 95 gr vld. 243 AI
1:10 26" douglas barrel.
I found if I keep velocities around 3000 to 3100 using H4831SC ccibr2 primers lapua brass.
Sd is under 10f/s
I load into the lands. closing the bolt seats the bullet.
present load of 46.6 gives 3050f/s
NOTE: 46grs will be a max load for a 243 win.

all my 243 bullets are moly coated.
I have not tried any vituvori powders.
the 95gr bergers high BC 518 . OAL to the lands measures 2.287".
shot some pretty good groups (averages) at 300yrd. under 3/4" moa.
the ladders that I shot over the cronagraph show a velocity loss at 47.5 grains up to 48grs. for H4831sc.
43 gr H414 95gr berger velocity 3100 one hole groups at a 100yrd measured in the .3 and .4's
90gr barnes were very accurate 46grs of H4831sc
OAL was 2.272 .015" off the lands.
85gr sierra hpbt 37.1 grs of varget did not get a velocity for this load. very accurate.
I switched back and fore from cci br2 and remington 9 1/2mag primers.
Both were eaqual, and did not make any diffrence in groups.
I have stayed with the bergers for the high BC and the h4831sc 11f/s deviation in velocity.
all loads shoulds be reduced and worked up in your rifle!
i will start up testing next week.
My old stock split between the action screws and the new one should be here this week.

Hivelosity been shooting the lapua 90 mollys with 49.5g of vit n165 in my 243, es of 7 using lapua brass and cci bench, ave vl of 3270 with no signs of over pressure, seems the 243 with 90grains plus bullets likes the slower powders, must also aide barrel life, Regards paul t.
